Technical Support Engineer

One of London’s leading CCTV integration specialists; working within the town centre, public surveillance and CCTV monitoring space, are now looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support the engineering teams with complex networked integrated solutions.

Job Role Summary

Working as part of the technical department, the Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for remote and on-site support on integrated IP security systems.

Responsibilities:

* Offering technical support to clients and engineers on integrated electronic security systems, primarily IP CCTV and Access Control.

* Take responsibility for key clients to become a subject matter expert in their systems.

* Providing technical advice to customers and engineers regarding systems integration.

* Maintain and service systems.

* Working on-site and remotely.

* Supporting projects team in solution design and creating technical documentation.

* Travel within London and South East as required.

Skills Required:

* Strong technical understanding of IP CCTV is essential.

* Experience of public space engineering would be preferred

* Ability to diagnose faults on hardware and software – VMS experience beneficial.

* A technical/IT background would be beneficial – e.g. networking skills, CCNA, TCP/IP, Linux, VMware, software support, server building and support.

Package:

* £35,000 + vehicle + benefits.
