Regional Sales Manager – Middle East

Salary £35k – £45k Basic, £55k – £60k OTE

From stadia to airports, shopping centres to data centres, the Middle East capital projects arena is booming and now you can claim your part of it – by growing business for the global market leader in control room console design and build.

Winsted has a strong market share in the region already. The company works with the major systems integrators, architects and consultants to design control room environments, custom build console furniture and fixtures, and deliver high profile projects.

You’ll manage these vital relationships, develop new business channels and realise the company’s very considerable growth potential throughout the Middle East region.

The role

Your goal will be to promote and maintain Winsted as the supplier of choice for whenever a control room project occurs in the Middle East.

There’ll be a voice in shaping the regional marketing strategy, but the emphasis will be on the commercial relationships you foster with existing and potential partners. Key account management and new business prospecting must be in your blood!

Having the world leader’s logo on your business card and an established client roster will give you a solid base, but there’s plenty of scope to develop new markets, channels and customers for the company’s standard consoles and custom design services.

Expect to spend much of your time traveling the region from your home base – to meet customers, attend trade shows and capture technical requirements on-site. Solutions selling will be a feature, working with a renowned technical design team.

It’s down to you how you manage your region and workload, but this is a sales challenge and it’s your results that will speak the loudest.


We’re looking for someone who knows their way around Middle East business within a capital projects-related industry and has dealt with specifiers such as systems integrators, architects or relevant end users. Specific control room knowledge would be a bonus.

Additionally, you’ll be a skilled key account manager, solutions sales professional and prospector, who can confidently negotiate complex requirements at senior corporate and government levels.

The challenge also demands a great sales and marketing strategist, who has an eye for good communications and can tailor their offer to differing markets and cultures.

Expect to be traveling for 2-3 weeks per month, away from your home base which can be anywhere within practical reach of the region.

In return

With a solid basic salary and uncapped commission, the earning potential is exciting, with a realistic OTE of £60k + by the end of your first full year. There’ll also be a generous package and home office / travel allowances.
