We are working with a rapidly growing and ambitious security integrator who are seeking an experienced Projects Director to oversee their projects delivery as a whole and set-up and develop the projects department.
As the Projects Director, you’ll be given complete freedom to create and head up a brand-new projects team. With an ever-increasing project portfolio and enquiry list, this rapidly growing security integrator are looking to build on their success as a service and maintenance provider by delivering projects to current and new clients.
You’ll be leading, supervising, and driving operational excellence and execution within project installation and delivery. This important position will allow you to utilise and test your management, commercial and technical skills to the full.
Plan and execute the creation of the new projects department, utilising the current project work, leads and staff
Develop strategies for successful delivery of multiple projects to key clients, ensuring the business delivers against targets and achieves margins
Plan and prepare project opportunities in conjunction with the sales department and agree plans to ensure project deliveries are realistic and progress can be satisfactorily monitored
Attend client meetings, building relationships and encouraging opportunities for further business
Provide project management expertise as required on projects throughout the business
Manage and motivate current staff and be involved in further hires into the projects team
Implement measurable monitoring and review processes that ensure excellent levels of customer satisfaction and customer service are maintained throughout the business
Attend monthly board meetings and run departmental meetings as required
Develop relationships with current and new technology partners
Seek opportunities for further departmental and company growth
* Strong prior experience of project management and project leadership for a security integrator is essential (Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, etc.)
* Demonstratable leadership skills and experience working with project teams and strategic account teams
* Experience of creating or developing new teams and departments
Very strong operational, commercial and financial management skills (including project and company P&L)
* Good knowledge and understanding of contracts and processes
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues

£60,000 + bonus (OTE £120,000) + car allowance + healthcare
(+ potential shareholder incentive scheme)
